Diepoldsau liegt praktisch auf einer Insel (begrenzt durch den Altarm des Alpenrheins gegen Osten und den Rheindurchstich, den Neuen Rhein, im Westen) mitten im Rheintal direkt an der Grenze zu Österreich.


How to get to Diepoldsau

So gelangen Sie nach Diepoldsau:     

Treffpunkt für Kurse in Diepoldsau:  Gasthaus "Schiffli"

innerhalb der Schweiz:
A13 Ausfahrt Diepoldsau/Widnau ausfahren (von SG kommend 1. Ausfahrt nach Au, von Sargans/Buchs kommend 1. Ausfahrt nach Kriessern). Über die Rheinbrücke Richtung Diepoldsau fahren. Sie finden das Schiffli auf der linken Straßenseite ca. 100 m nach der Brücke.

aus Deutschland:
Autobahn Richtung Lindau - durch den Pfändertunnel - Ausfahrt Hohenems (1. Ausfahrt nach Dornbirn Süd) ausfahren. Unter der Autobahnbrücke hindurch Richtung CH fahren(nach ca. 100 m Zoll)- immer auf dieser Straße bleiben. Nach ca. 2 km(durch Ortskern von Diepoldsau, 2 Ampeln, durchfahren) liegt das Gasthaus Schiffli am rechten Straßenrand unmittelbar vor der Rheinbrücke.

aus Österreich:

entweder über Autobahn Salzburg - Münschen und dann Richtung Lindau - durch den Pfändertunnel - Ausfahrt Hohenems (1. Ausfahrt nach Dornbirn Süd) ausfahren. Unter der Autobahnbrücke hindurch Richtung CH fahren(nach ca. 100 m Zoll) - immer auf dieser Straße bleiben. Nach ca. 2 km(durch Ortskern von Diepoldsau, 2 Ampeln, durchfahren) liegt das Gasthaus Schiffli am rechten Straßenrand unmittelbar vor der Rheinbrücke.

oder über Inntalautobahn - Arlberg(-tunnel) - Feldkirch - Ausfahrt Hohenems (1. Ausfahrt nach Götzis/Altach) ausfahren. Unter der Autobahnbrücke hindurch Richtung CH fahren(nach ca. 100 m Zoll)- immer auf dieser Straße bleiben. Nach ca. 2 km(durch Ortskern von Diepoldsau, 2 Ampeln, durchfahren) liegt das Gasthaus Schiffli am rechten Straßenrand unmittelbar vor der Rheinbrücke.

Hotel "Schiffli"

 

from inside Switzerland:

Take the exit Diepoldsau/Widnau (if you come from Zurich via St. Gallen it is the first exit after the exit Au, if you come from Zurich via Sargans/Buchs it is the first exit after the exit Kriessern). Cross the River Rhine in direction to Diepoldsau. You will find the Schiffli on the left side about 100 m after the bridge.

from Germany:

Take the highway in direction to Lindau(Lake Constance). After Lindau you cross the Austrian border. Drive through the Pfändertunnel. Take the highway in direction to Innsbruck/Feldkirch. Take the exit Hohenems (first exit after Dornbirn Süd). At the roundabout at the exit drive in direction to Switzerland. After 150 m you cross the border. Drive straight ahead on this street (you cross two traffic lights) and after about 2 km you will find the Schiffli at the right hand side about 100 m before you get to the bridge.

from Austria:

Take the highway to Innsbruck. Then you go on in direction to Bregenz. Take the exit Hohenems (first exit afte rthe exit Götzis/Altach). At the roundabout at the exit drive in direction to Switzerland. After 150 m you cross the border. Drive straight ahead on this street (you cross two traffic lights) and after about 2 km you will find the Schiffli at the right hand side about 100 m before you get to the bridge.
