My personal LOOP
tackle recommendations
(find below comments about the tackle I am/was using during the
last year)

LOOP Opti Creek |
| Like
all the other reels of the Opti line this reel is a beauty and a
high tech tool with unbeatable design and a very special
breaking system that works under all conditions. I like this
little reel because it is light and gives a light rod a very
nice optical touch. I fish it on the GASS #4 rod and it is
filled with a #4 Opti stream fly line. |

LOOP Opti Dryfly |
| There is
not much to say about this reel. I use it most of the time when
fishing for trout and
grayling. For those who are aware of high precision
craftmanship this reel is maybe the most wanted on the market at
the moment. In my opinion it outcompetes all other reels that
are on the market at the moment. I fish it with the Opti
Stillwater line. |

LOOP Opti Runner |
| The Opti
runner is the perfect choice no matter if you fish for bone fish
in the salt or for sea trout in the North. The special design of
the reel can keep a large amount of backing and the large arbor
protects the fly line by avoiding memory effects. I used the
Runner this spring on the Seychelles
and it really did a good job with the fast running bone fish.
There is also a version with faster retrieve on the market. It is
called
the Opti Speedrunner and has got the handle a bit closer to
the centre to speed up your retrieve when fighting fish that
take a lot of backing in one run. |

LOOP
Evotec G3 HD 8/10 |
| The Loop
Evotec G3 works with the Power Matrix carbon break system
and the reel has now got an improved reel changing system that
enables you to change the spool easier. I used the reel a lot in
Kamchatka(RU)and landed many nice fish.
It is a very powerful and robust reel that can be fished in
extreme conditions without any negatice impact on the breaking
system. It will always work perfectly. This reel has done a
great job for me! |
