Rate 1 - beginners - level 1

 These are the daily rates(appr. 5 hours of practice time) for fly casting courses for beginners(level 1).
More than 8(eight) persons only on explicit and written demand of the organizer. See club rates below! Fishing licences and expenses of the instructor are not included.

Rate 2 - advanced fly casters - level 2

These are the daily rates(appr. 5 hours practice time) for fly casting courses for advanced fly casters(level 2).

Rate 3 - Instructor Coaching - Level 3

These are the rates for a coaching to prepare for the EFFA Flycasting Instructor certificate as well as for a coaching of very advanced fly casters who want to improve their casting. These are courses outside my official course programme.

Nymph Fishing Courses

In 2011 I can offer you nymph fishing courses for the first time. Nymph fishing is much more difficult than dry fly fishing as you cannot watch the drifting nymph like a dry fly. I am going to teach you nymph fishing that well that you will be able to fish the nymph successfully at your water, too. Our course book is my new book   "Erfolgreich Fliegenfischen auf Salmoniden". We will try to learn all techniques in the book. Besides that you will learn to read a water, get to know basic knowledge on entomology as well as tackle and much more.

important:  This is no course where you will learn Czech Nymphing. We deal with proper fly fishing here.

The following dates can be booked by you!

This means that you can book a two days course at the destination of your choice. This is interesting for smaller groups up to six persons maximum. Small groups of fishing buddies, water owners, fly fishing clubs or friends can organise such a course at a destination of your choice and I will show up bringing my experience and knowledge on the subject with me to make you good nymph fishers.

The organisation of the course(site, water, accomodation, licences, ...) is up to the organizer. My transfer and accomodation costs incl. meals are to be paid by the organizer and are not included in the mentioned course costs.

Expenses

If a client wants me to offer a course at a destination of his choice my expenses(travel expenses, accomodation meals and drinks) have to be covered(official costs for car expenses in Switzerland: CHF 0,50 per km). Theses costs are not included in the prices above but have to be paid extra.

In addition to that the site should be easy accessable, large enough, should not be dangerous (high voltage, ...) and has to offer a good infrastructure to make a good course possible. The place should be well prepared (e.g. the lawn has to be cut if we are supposed to cast on grass) and technical devices(beamer, screen, maybe loudspeaker system) have to be available to make perfect presentations(PPT) possible. Please ask in advance what is needed.

Tackle to rent

Tackle can be rent for single handed courses as well as for double hand courses(UH tackle). It is necessary to make tackle reservations at least one week prior to the event!

Daily rental for basic equipment(rod, reel, line, leader): CHF 15.-

Waders and other clothing are not available.

General business conditions

The participation at courses, guidings or fly fishing trips offered or managed by the UFC^© Fly Fishing School is at your own risk. We disclaim liability for property damage or injuries of any kind which are caused by participants.

After registering for a course half of the charge fee has to be transferred to one of our accounts. By doing this the registration is made definite. The rest of the course fee has to be paid at least four weeks before the course starts. If a participant cannot take part the advance will only be paid back if he cancels the course not later than four weeks before the event takes place.

UFC^© Fly Fishing School reserves the right to cancel or to move any courses at any time without specifying the reasons. If a course is cancelled all the pre-paid money will be paid back. UFC Fly Fishing School is not liable for any other costs or circumstances connected with the cancellation or the change of date of a course.

Each participant has to wear an eye protection device (sunglasses, optical glasses or equivalent) during the course. 

Filming or photographing during the course disturbs the learning progress. Therefore participants are not allowed to take pictures or film during the course (except group pictures at the end).

During the course the participants might be filmed from time to time for making a later video analysis possible. By attending a course of  UFC^© Fly Fishing School  the participant agrees to allow the owner of UFC^© Fly Fishing School to use this video material for future teaching purposes or video productions.
