Why LOOP?
In summer 2007 I joined the LOOP Pro Team. It was always my aim to provide my help and knowledge to develop innovative first class fly fishing equipment. There are many companies which try to work in that direction. A fly caster chooses his sponsor according to his feelings and his trust in the material and products the target company has developed. For high level fly casting instructors the rods and lines are the most important factor.
What rods are concerned I trust in the experience of my friend Göran Andersson, father of the Underhand Casting Technique, who asked me to join LOOP some time ago. Göran belongs to the best rod builders in the world. There is no doubt about that! In my opinion his knowledge on tapers and material is unbeatable on the market. Göran is a LOOP co-owner and the brain of tackle development. Besides Göran, there is Christer Sjöberg, Loop co-owner and pioneer in finding new fly fishing destinations(Loop Adventures). There is not much to say about Christer except that he is involved in everything that is going on in the company. His days should have 50 not only 24 hours. The Team Loop consists of many well known fly casting instructors in Europe especially what two handed fly casting is concerned. Have a look at the LOOP website. The Team Loop stands for professionalism resulting in an optimal testing feedback concerning all of the LOOP products and a continuous improvement of tackle. Many of the best innovations in fly fishing tackle in the past came from LOOP and I am sure that this will continue in the future.
