Masterclass 2/2023 single hand rod
Masterclass 2/2023 Instructor Preparation Course - Highend

This course is a fly casting course only, which is aligned with the demands for the Instructor/ Master Instructor test of the European Fly Fishing Association (EFFA). It only suits to very advanced fly casters who are in good physical condition or at least good enough to be able to manage to fly cast for 5-6 hours per day in a very concentrated manner. The course can also be attended by advanced fly casters (double haul as a minimum requirement) who want to complete their fly casting technique.
On the list of the participants of my preparation courses(see below) you will find many of the best European fly-casting instructors of our time. It reads like the Who is Who of the new generation of fly casting instructors? They all now spread the modern way of fly casting which they got to know at my courses among the fly fishing world and they are a guarantee for the future development of the European fly casting tradition.

They were successful!
The probably highest standard of teaching you can get, based on my ability to analyse, recognize and remove existing casting errors within the shortest time possible, is not a guarantee but the best possible basis for passing world's toughest and most sought after fly casting instructor exam and to finally become a Certified EFFA Fly Casting Instructor. That's why my clients come from all over the world and sometimes drive or fly long distances to be able to take the chance to participate in one of these courses.
The fly fishers listed below have participated in at least one of my Flycasting Instructor Preparation Courses of the UFC Fly Fishing School or have at least got the final "polish" before attending the exam. Meanwhile they are EFFA instructors(former FFF-Europe instructors - not to mix up with the much easier FFF), some of them are even EFFA Master Instructors now.

There were also a few of my former students who did not contribute to the long tradition of European fly casting with its unique styles and important developments by attending a test which was especially designed by European pros to meet the European demands but finally chose the easier/faster way to become an instructor. They were obviously of the opinion that European fly casting needs supervision of the American FFF and is thereby less advanced than American fly casting. This does not neccessarily mean that those participants have considerably less abilities what fly casting or teaching are concerned. Nevertheless, I am honestly a little bit disappointed.
